Arno obtained his LLB degree at the University of the Free State and commenced his professional career in 2005 at the one of the largest and most esteemed law firms in the Free State.  After gaining significant experience working alongside experienced litigators and well known advocates, in 2010 Arno was recruited to join the National Credit Regulator in Gauteng as a specialist in-house legal counsel in its investigations and enforcement department.

In 2013, Arno returned to private practice and over the past seven years, has been acting on behalf of a wide range of clients in a multitude of industries, including but not limited to banking and finance, retail, credit, IT, advertising & marketing, construction and frail care.

Arno’s vast exposure to local and international litigious matters position him as an expert in the field of civil and commercial litigation, with solid procedural experience and an understanding of how best to achieve his clients’ goals in the shortest timeframe.

Arno’s 16 years’ experience place him in the ideal position of heading up the firm’s commercial and dispute resolution department. He specialises in drafting & vetting of commercial contracts, general civil litigation, dispute resolution with emphasis on commercial, credit & contractual based disputes and litigation, insolvency & business rescue and construction law.
